This special wedding is the union between Anton Zemlyanoy and Liga Melne. Anton from Blanche Photography is responsible for the beautiful images of my current collection The Golden Age. His new wife Liga is the gorgeous model he photographed in the gowns from this collection.
They were married in a glamorous hotel in Provence in France the Chateau in April 2013 and these images were captured by the talented team from Blumenthal Photography. Dan Blumenthal – a long standing friend of Anton’s – flew to France to photograph the day and then followed the couple to Paris for more stunning location shots there.
Having an intimate wedding of 30, the couple chose the chateau to celebrate their European heritage and to accommodate their mainly European guests. They booked the entire hotel for the weekend as a gift to their guests and all were able to entirely enjoy the relaxing and exquisite surroundings.
Liga had a clear vision of how her wedding would look, she and her florist friend Christopher Doblo chose all the flowers at the local florist and coordinated the styling details. The chateau was decorated lavishly with scented flowers in shades of pinks, lavender, deep blue, purple and magenta and scented candles were placed amongst the flowers for more fragrance and the atmosphere was aromatic. As her maids were located all around the globe, the bride asked them
to select their own gowns in the same tones as the flowers in soft flowing styles.
The bride wore the LEAH gown from my SILK collection; a sequined silk sheath of silk white, bias cut with a long sweeping train, pleat detail at the bodice and plunging back, an elegant design that draws from the dramatic silhouettes and styling of the Gatsby era. Liga wore this with a custom tailored satin bow and SIGNTURE veil and KATHERINE vintage inspired jewelled earrings both from the LISA GOWING ACCESSORIES collection. Antoine of Soda Films provided this lovely video of the day.

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph my recent collection The Golden Age at my close friends home in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Such a beautiful home, influenced in design by the decor and gardens of the South of France and the great homes of the Hamptons.
With 15 gowns and all the coordinating accessories to shoot there was no time to lose, so the talented team got to work.
The theme of the photo shoot was to be the glamour age of Hollywood to best suit the collection of French lace, liquid silk, and embellished gowns that encompass The Golden Age collection.
Our model Liga was engaged at the time to the photographer Anton, my next blog will showcase their amazing wedding images in a chateau in Provence.
